SUSTAINABILITY & TRACEABILITY

Turning Innovation into Impact
At Boolah, we believe research should do more than sit in a report — it should work on the land, with real farmers, producing real results. That’s why our Research & Development division exists to bridge the gap between sustainability ambitions and on-farm action.
Through our sustainability frameworks, large-scale independent trial farms and industry collaborations we’re taking a practical, grower-first approach to sustainability and traceability. Connecting research to practice and practice to progress.
Our large-scale commercial trial farms test regenerative practices where it counts — in real-world farming systems. It’s not about theory; it’s about proving what works, measuring the impact, and making it easy to adopt meaningful change.
Whether it’s tracking carbon sequestration, trialling low-emissions cropping systems, or implementing agtech software, we offer a ready-made platform for testing, learning, and reporting — translating ambition into action.
Crucially, the value we create is shared. From the grower in the paddock to the end user at the table, every partner involved in our trials and programs has access to the insights, tools, and commercial benefits that come from working together. Shared learning, shared improvement — shared success.
Our Sustainability Framework and digital dashboards give growers and partners the tools to track progress, meet ESG targets, and access premium markets — all while keeping productivity at the core.
Regen4real Sustainability Framework is our scorecard that captures, measures and validates our impact, managing and reporting sustainability related risks and opportunities for commodities we connect to end users. It includes indicators and targets to drive sustainability performance across all core business activities.
Regen4real Dashboard is our interactive tool that showcases our progress as a network.
Collecting the right data is crucial to ensuring sustainability impact can correctly determined, and this years field day will focus on highlighting what data we collect for the Regen4real platform and how that translates to value for everyone across the supply-chain.
About the Trial Farm
Starting in 2021, the Dimboola Trial Farm now hosts 18 active trial participants across 434 hectares and acts as the test bed for different practices, technologies and input products that can help achieve our sustainability goals.
As our trials continue to grow, we’re expanding into new regions with the intention of building out trial farm network to cover each major grain growing region in Australia.
