Boolah Trial Farm Field Day 2026
Thursday 10 September 2026 | Victoria
Margin Matters
Why Margin Matters?
In a climate of rising costs, tighter returns and increasing complexity across agriculture, every decision matters.
This year’s theme, Margin Matters, reflects the need to look beyond yield alone and focus on the practical choices, partnerships and innovations that help strengthen profitability across the full supply chain.
From trial work and paddock performance through to market alignment, end-user expectations and long-term value creation, Margin Matters is about understanding where value is created, protected and shared.
Australia’s largest commercial-scale regenerative trial farm event.
Bringing growers, agronomists, researchers, industry leaders and end users together for a day of practical insight, commercial perspective and real conversations across the full supply chain.

The Boolah Trial Farm Field Day has quickly become a standout event for practical discussion, commercial insight and on-farm learning.
Built on real-world trial work, industry collaboration and a shared focus on progress, the event brings together growers, advisers, researchers, processors, brands and industry partners to explore the ideas shaping agriculture now and into the future.
In 2026, that conversation continues in Victoria.

Dimboola Trial Farm Walk
Wednesday 30 September 2026
Pallamallawa, NSW
Following the Boolah Trial Farm Field Day in Victoria on Thursday 10 September 2026, Boolah will host a separate Trial Farm Walk in Pallamallawa, NSW on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
Held across the Dimboola and Popinguy farms, this smaller-format event will give attendees the opportunity to get closer to the trials on the ground, chat directly with trial farm participants, hear about the latest research and discoveries, and ask questions in a practical on-farm setting.
Built around the same spirit of testing, learning and reporting that underpins Boolah’s trial farm model, the walk will offer a closer look at the practices, technologies and input products being explored through the program, and how those learnings connect to broader outcomes across sustainability, traceability, profitability and long-term resilience.
Open to attendees from Moree, Pallamallawa and surrounding areas, as well as others interested in attending, more details will be shared soon.
Looking back at 2025
The 2025 Boolah Trial Farm Field Day drew more than 400 growers, agronomists and industry leaders for a full day of panels, presentations, networking and discussion.
The strong response reinforced the appetite for practical, commercially relevant conversations that connect what happens on farm with what matters across the wider supply chain.
About the Trial Farms
Starting in 2021, the Dimboola Trial Farm now hosts 18 active trial participants across 434 hectares and acts as the test bed for different practices, technologies and input products that can help achieve our sustainability goals.
In addition, the second trial farm in Donald, Victoria was launched in 2025, with plans to expand into other areas of Australia in 2026 and beyond.
Whether it’s tracking carbon sequestration, trialling low-emissions cropping systems, or implementing agtech software, the trial farm model has been designed for testing, learning, and reporting - translating ambition into action.
Crucially, the value we create is shared as we showcase cutting-edge trials and real-world practices aimed at helping growers meet evolving sustainability, traceability, and low-emissions targets.
As our trials continue to grow, we’re expanding into new regions with the intention of building out trial farm network to cover each major grain growing region in Australia.
If you're looking to strengthen your supply chain involvement, improve environmental performance, or simply connect with others leading change in Australian agriculture — this is your opportunity.
